Overview
MiHR defines microlearning as small bursts of learning to teach new skills and competencies. Microlearning also reinforces existing skills or reskills and upskills in a flexible environment, often without removing the individual from the workplace for days or weeks.
Key topics from the Common Competency and Frontline Supervisor training have been developed into microlearning.
Each microlearning is introduced with key points followed by a video to watch as a group, and reflection questions to initiate discussion. Some microlearning has additional documents or activities to complete.
