A workshop on taking accountability for a safe industry.

Overview

Designed for production level workers, frontline supervisors and industry trainers, this three-hour workshop builds awareness of the intentional and unintentional impacts behaviours, language and actions can have in the workplace. Participants learn how to interact respectfully, respond to inappropriate situations, and hold one another accountable for harmful workplace behaviours.

Workshop Outcomes

  1. Build Awareness: Learn how to recognize and understand the behaviours that contribute to a psychologically and physically unsafe work environment, including covert and overt sexual harassment.
  2. Support Coworkers: Learn how to identify strategies to prevent unsafe work interactions and intervene appropriately when witnessing harassment, sexual harassment or gender-based violence at work.
  3. Take Accountability: Develop strategies to support accountability and changed behaviours and recognize its impact on individuals and the work environment.
